Crowdsourcing and the Indoor Garden

In some cities, people do not have access to land in which to grow their own food. Others rent and are not allowed, or live in condos which make gardening difficult. There is a movement, an open source community, that is about improving and experimenting with growing food indoors, apartment farmers, if you will. People come together from around the world, sharing plans, schematics, work as testers for the theories of others, and then offer the plans to anyone that wants them.
