The weather is getting warmer, and the selection is getting hotter. Cool things start popping up in July. And I have run out of weather related adjectives. Clark Farm mentioned they may be getting their hands on some sweet corn from a friendly farm (which is totally a cool thing to do as long as they are labeled as such, and Clark always does.) So come on down, and restock that fridge, now that you have space from all those burgers and hot dogs that were eaten the other day.
This week’s rotating vendors: All Fruit, Auntie Elsie’s Oatmeal Crisps, Honey Pot Farm.
Today’s Market is sponsored by SalemFive. They usually send down some really nice folk, say hello!
Also visiting for the afternoon is Historic New England. My question is what part of New England is not historic?
More vendor notes: if you missed the Swissbakers last week, we have good news! they will be back. And I don’t know if you noticed, but someone new started last week – La Creperie. She makes French style crepes, which are really, really, really good.
The music for this week is Strange Interlude, founded by harpist Lily Press and cellist Simon Linn-Gerstein, Strange Interlude is a mixed-instrumentation chamber ensemble. Come check out these two from 5:00-7:00pm. Chamber music outdoors you say? Preposterous! Well, come check out how it is done.
