Harvest Dinner: September 29


This Month Only: Learn about our  September Scavenger Spectacular: A weekly adventure for the kids and the kids at heart.


Tickets will be available online till noon on Saturday. No tickets sales at the event.

So if you are procrastinating till the last minute, we are kind of at that spot.

Tickets can also be purchased (without online fees!) at the Salem Farmers’ Market (Derby Square, Thursdays, 3 pm to 7 pm) or at the Salem Main Streets office (265 Essex Street or 978-744-0004, Mon-Fri, 9 to 5).

We will be closing out our 10th season with a very special farm-to-table evening at Maitland Mountain Farm for a few (80+) lucky attendees.

Tickets are $80 a person, with a cash bar plus a complementary toast.

THE MENU

1st course:
an array of local cheeses, fruits, pickled veggies, crostini and deviled eggs.

2nd course:
greens and kale salad with beets, pickled onion, feta in a honey tarragon dressing.

3rd course:
roast chicken with fresh lavender, roast fish with lemon sorrel and basil pesto, roasted squash and potatoes

4th course:
apple strudel with honey mead glaze.

Ferreira Foods will be catering a full meal, plus dessert prepared by market alum Jodi Bee Bakes, with ingredients sourced primarily from Maitland Mountain Farm and other vendors at the Salem Farmers’ Market. Bar will be operated by North Shore Bartenders.

The only operational farm in Salem, the Maitlands have been with the Salem Farmers’ Market all 10 seasons, and we can’t think of any better way to celebrate.
